How to upload Products to your Commerce Connector Brand Catalog:
- On the Home page of your Commerce Connector account click on the module “Products”
- Selected the country if you have access multi-country access
- Download/save the existing product list
- Add products to the downloaded Excel file in the same format:
Mandatory information:
- EAN
- Description (meaning product name)
Additional information:
- Product attributes (e.g. Product attribute 1 = Product Category, Product attribute 2 = Product Line / Group, Product attribute 3 = Segment)
- For brands using the Commerce Connector Widget: Variant product name, variant product description, etc.
- Save the new product list to your computer
- Upload the file in your admin panel by choosing “Update” (accepted format CSV or an Excel)
- Wait until the upload results are shown in the result pop-up
- Compare the “Total number” of products in the uploaded file to know how many are “New”, “Updated” and “Unmodified”. If you receive error messages because of “Copy” or “Invalid” and are not able to correct the error, please reach out to our support via our Help Center
If the product “Buy Now” doesn’t appear on the brand website, follow the suggestions below:
- Check your Commerce Connector account to see if the EAN is uploaded in the product catalog of the corresponding country. If not, please add the EAN
- If a new product launches, it corresponding EAN needs to be added into the product catalog through your Commerce Connector account (including the EANSs of variants if applicable)
